Shoes built just for your feet
The shoes made by Strokes & Stitches are custom-made to order.
Each pair is built to fit the customer's specific needs, including precise foot measurements. This approach allows for extensive customization options such as the choice of model, leather, color, eyelets, soles, and more.
Since all shoes are custom-made to order, we do not keep any items in stock, nor do we use shopping carts. Each pair is handcrafted from scratch. The production time for a pair of bespoke shoes is approximately 40-60 hours, and the current lead time is around 3-6 months.

Tools and materials
Vegetable tanned leather from Tärnsjö tannery in Uppland. It is the core of most of our products. The leather gives a fantastic patina and only becomes more beautiful with time. If the leather comes from Tärnsjö tannery, you can be sure that it is one of the finest leathers you can get your hands on. Strokes & Stitches also use leather from a number of Italian and French tanneries. The hand tools used come from skilled toolmakers around the world.

THE PROCESS
The first thing you will see is the last.
Every pair of shoes begins with a wooden shoe last — the foundation upon which the shoes are built. The last should represent both the shoe model and the measurements of the foot.
